Transportable copy configuration

For Windows Server 2008
Click the [Start] button – [All Programs] – [ETERNUS VSS Hardware Provider] – [Target Disk Pool
Registration•Deletion] in the backup server.
For a Server Core environment, execute the "Target Disk Pool Registration/Deletion Command".

Click the [Start] icon – [Target Disk Pool Registration•Deletion] in the backup server.

Changing the Shadow Copy Destination
Change the Shadow Copy destination in the Target Disk Pool Registration/Deletion window according
to the following procedure.

Adding a Shadow Copy destination
Procedure

Select a disk that is to be a Shadow Copy destination from [Disk list] (multiple selections can
be made), and click the [--->] button.
The disk is moved to [Target disk list].

Click the [OK] button.
The disks in [Target disk list] and [Used target disk list] are registered in the target disk pool
management file.
