CAUTION!

When replacing a non-defective hot-plug power supply unit in a non-
redundant configuration
, the server must be switched off first.

Ê

Remove the power cord from the cable clamp. You can losen the cable
clamp by opening the small locking lever.

Ê

Remove the power cord from the installed power supply unit.

Ê

Press the green release lever (1) and pull out the power supply unit in the
direction of the arrow (2). Grip the handle while pulling the power supply.

CAUTION!

Release your hands from lever (1) as soon as the power supply unit
has been pulled out a few centimeters.

Ê

Completely remove the defective power supply unit from the slot.

CAUTION!

Never leave the slot for the power supply unit empty for more than
two minutes during operation. Otherwise, excessive temperatures
could damage system components.
