8.1 Scanner Settings
The Software Operation Panel will be installed together with the scanner driver (TWAIN driver/ISIS
driver).
With this application, you can configure settings and functions for the fi-5950.
■ Start up the Software Operation Panel
Start up via PC
1. Confirm if the scanner is connected correctly to the PC, then power on
the scanner.
2. From the [Start] menu, select [All Programs] - [Scanner Utility for
Microsoft Windows] - [Software Operation Panel].
⇒ The [Software Operation Panel] window will be displayed.
ATTENTION
• Do not use the operator panel while the Software Operation Panel
is running.
• lIf you connect multiple scanners, the second scanner and so forth will not
be recognized. Connect only one scanner at a time.
