To filter SSL VPN events

Go to Log&Report > Log Config > Event Log.

Select Enable, and then select one or more of the following options:

SSL VPN user authentication event
•
SSL VPN administration event
•
SSL VPN session event

To view SSL VPN event logs

Go to Log&Report > Log Access.

If the option is available from the Type list, select the log file from disk or memory.
You can modify the settings in the top row to meet your requirements. Log
messages are displayed beneath the top row.
Monitoring active SSL VPN sessions
You can display a list of all active SSL VPN sessions. The list displays the user
name of the remote user, the IP address of the remote client, and the time that the
connection was made. The list also identifies which services are being provided
(see
Figure 6
).
To view the list of active sessions, go to VPN > SSL > Monitor.

When a tunnel-mode user is connected, the Description field displays the IP
address that the FortiGate unit assigned to the remote host (see
Figure 7
).

The user names of all connected remote users.
Source IP
The IP addresses of the host devices connected to the FortiGate unit.

The starting time of each connection.

Information about which services are being provided.
