Clear
The Clear command will clear the current CRC error count to zero.
Margin
Generally, you will not need to change SNR margin, whose range is from 0 to 10. SNR margin is an index of
the line connection. You can see the actual SNR margin in STATUS SHDSL menu. The larger the SNR margin,
the better the line connection. If you set the SNR margin to 2, the SHDSL connection will drop and reconnect
when the SNR margin is lower than 2. Or, the device will reduce the line rate and then reconnect for better
line connection.
7.3.2.1.3 WAN
The modem supports 8 PVC (Private Virtual Circuit), and so you can set up to eight WAN circuits,from WAN1
to WAN8. Move the cursor " >> " to the wan command and press the enter key. To setup WAN1 type 1, to
setup WAN2 type in 2 etc..
Command: setup wan <1~8>
Message: Please input the following information.
Interface number <1~8>:
Enter the required wan number and press the enter key. The following sub-menu will now be displayed.

address IP address and subnet mask
vpi_vci Configure VPI/VCI value
encap Configure encapsulation type

isp Configure account name, password and idle time
ip_type Configure IP type in PPPoA and PPPoE

Protocol
There are four types of protocols that can be selected , IPoA, EoA, PPPoA and PPPoE, which you can setup.
IP Address
Allows the user to set the IP Address. Note, for dynamic IP of PPPoA and PPPoE, you do not need to enter the
IP address and subnet mask.
