7.3.2 ENABLE
To Configure the modem, move the cursor " >>" to the enable option and press the enter key. You will now
be prompted to type in the Supervisor Password. The default supervisor password is root. The password will
be prompted as " * " symbol for system security.
Command: enable
Message: Please input the following information.
Supervisor password: ****
The screen will now display the following sub-menu.
>> enable Modify command privilege
setup Configure system
status Show running system status
show View system configuration
write Update flash configuration
reboot Reset and boot system
ping Packet internet groper command
admin Setup management features
utility TFTP upgrade utility
exit Quit system
In the displayed sub menu, you can setup management features, upgrade software, backup the system
configuration and restore the system configuration.
IMPORTANT NOTE: - For any configuration changes, you have to write the new configuration to the FLASH,
save the configuration and reboot the AM2 to work with the new configuration.
Each of the sub-menu options are described below.
