SDI Video Inputs 1 – 8
The upper row of
SD/HD-SDI inputs are
labelled 1~4. The lower
row of SD/HD SDI inputs
are labelled 5~8.

HDMI Video Inputs 9 – 12
The HDMI inputs are
labelled. The numbers
3/4/7/8 are the respective
SDI counterparts of the
HDMI video inputs 9 – 12.

SYNC I/O
The SE-4000 can be
synchronized with other studio
equipment such as cameras.
REF IN accepts Tri-level or
Black Burst sync. REF LOOP can
be used to pass the sync signal
to other studio equipment such
as cameras or recorders.
This function is currently under
development.

Ethernet Port
The DVIP port can be used to
connect the main unit to the
switcher’s control panel or the
network.

If the DVIP port is used to
directly connect the control
panel, open the GUI and
follow the menu path Setup

Network to set the IP address.

The main unit and the control
panel can also be connected to
any network at the same time
for remote control. See

Section 2.2 Network Setup

for

setup instructions.

USB FW Upgrade Port
Connect the USB drive
containing the main unit’s
latest firmware files to this
port and start the
firmware upgrade process
on the GUI.

DC IN
Connect the supplied 12 V
PSU to this 4 PIN XLR
socket
Pin 1 = GND ( - )
Pin 2 = NC
Pin 3 = NC
Pin 4 = VCC ( + )

AUDIO OUT
Supports two channels of the XLR
Balanced Audio output.

AUDIO IN
Supports four channels of the XLR
Balanced Audio Input.

TALLY OUT
The SE-4000 Tally Output port provides bi-
colour tally information to a number of
other Datavideo products, such as the ITC-
100 eight channel talkback system or the
Datavideo TLM range of monitors.

Connect a custom keyboard controller to
this port.
