Shooting
Camera takes time to turn on
: Delete files or folders.
Shutter-release disabled

• Memory card is locked (SD cards only;
0 16), full, or not inserted

• Release locked is selected for Slot empty release lock in the setup
menu (
0 309) and no memory card is inserted (0 15).
• Aperture ring for CPU lens not locked at highest f-number (does not
apply to type G and E lenses). If

is displayed in the control panel,
select Aperture ring for Custom Setting f4 (Customize command
dials) > Aperture setting to use lens aperture ring to adjust aperture
(
0 302).
• Exposure mode S selected with
A or % selected for shutter speed

Camera is slow to respond to shutter-release button
: Select Off for Custom

Only one shot taken each time shutter-release button is pressed in continuous release
