Each image has a defined structure depending on the data content and the
function of the data transfer.
5.2.2 Data Flow between MVI56-DFCM Module and ControlLogix
Processor
The following topics describe the flow of data between the two pieces of
hardware (ControlLogix processor and MVI56-DFCM module) and other nodes
on the DF1 network under the module’s different operating modes. Each port on
the module is configured to emulate a DF1 Master device or a DF1 slave device.
The operation of each port depends on this configuration. The sections below
discuss the operation of each mode.
