11 Troubleshooting
Problem Cause Rectification
Pop up window
The pop up window does not
open. Pop up windows are blocked by
the web browser or additional
programs (e.g. Google
Toolbar). Set in the web browser and
when necessary in additional
programs that pop up windows
are to be allowed.
Preview
The preview is not displayed. The is no Adobe Flash Player
installed on the computer. Install a Adobe Flash Player on
the computer.
Load time
The pages do no load
immediately. The load time of some pages
can be up to 10 seconds
(e.g. for individual slides)
The Sunny Matrix displays
right angles. A special character was entered
in a slide that the Sunny Matrix
does not recognize. Set the special character as
described in section
8.6.1 ”Setting special
characters” (page 51).
A special character was entered
in the web browser for the Web
Text that the Sunny Matrix does
not recognize. Enter the special character as
described in section
8.6.2 ”Special characters for
the Web Text” (page 53).
Display is empty
The Sunny Matrix shows nothing
on the display. The Sunny Matrix has no
connection to the Sunny
WebBox and the standard slide
show is switched on, but is
empty. Switch the standard slide show
off or set the standard slide
show as described in section
7.7 ”Standard slide show (10)”
(page 44).
The Display flickers A slide uses display areas which
use the same modules. Check the set display areas or
do not use display areas that use
the same modules in one slide.
Display flashes off shortly Only 1 slide is set in the slide
show. A display time of
120 seconds, for example, is set
for this slide. After the display
time, the Sunny Matrix flashes
off shortly since the slide is newly
loaded. Set the display time for this slide
to 0 seconds. When the display
time is set to 0 seconds the
Sunny Matrix displays the slide
permanently. The Sunny Matrix
does not have to reload the
slide.
Set further slides in the slide
show.
