7.6 Grounding
7.6.1 Grounding the Transformer Compact Station
The Transformer Compact Station is equipped with a grounding busbar which enables external grounding.
The external grounding must be executed by the customer on site in accordance with the grounding concept of the entire
PV power plant. Influencing factors are the conditions or conductivity of the soil, the lightning protection system and the
type of ground electrode. The ground electrodes can be executed, for example, as grounding straps or grounding rods.

Requirements:
☐ Additionally required mounting material must be available.
☐ Contact surfaces must have been cleaned (see Section 7.5, page 25).
Additionally required mounting material (not included in the scope of delivery):
☐ Screw, M8
☐ Spring washer: external diameter: 29 mm, internal diameter: 13.5 mm, thickness: 1.25 mm
☐ Fender washer: external diameter: 32 mm, internal diameter: 13 mm
☐ Nut
☐ Ground electrodes suitable for the grounding concept of the PV system
