Conform Server Configuration
Conform Server Configuration
After installing the Conform Server software, there are additional tasks you must
perform on the server itself:
•
Disabling IE Enhanced Security Configuration
• Disabling Power Management
• Configuring IIS
• Configuring DEP
Disabling IE Enhanced Security Configuration
You must remove Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration software from the
conform server.
1. Open the
Add/Remove Programs
control panel.
2. Click
Add/Remove Windows Components
,
3. Uncheck
Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration
.
4. Click
Apply
.
Disabling Power Management
You must disable any screen savers or power-saving features on the conform server.
1. Open the
Display Properties
control panel
2. On the
Screen Saver
tab, select
None
as the screen saver and click
OK
.
3. Open the
Power Options
control panel.
4. On the
Power Schemes
tab, select the
Always On
power scheme.
5. Select Never for all monitor, hard disk, and system standby settings.
6. Click
Apply
.
7. Click the
Hibernate
tab and verify that the
Enable Hibernation
option is not checked.
8. Click
OK
.
