Cooling system failures
Symptom
The temperature inside the L1000-A exceeds 45°C (113°F).
Solution
• Verify that the fans are running normally.
• Verify that the working environment of the L1000-A is well ventilated.
• If the temperature inside the L1000-A exceeds 50°C (122°F), the following information appears on
the configuration terminal:
%Feb 27 11:34:39:949 2012 H3C DRVMSG/3/Temp2High:Temperature Point 0/0 Too High.
%Feb 27 11:34:42:557 2012 H3C DEV/4/BOARD TEMP TOOHIGH:
Board temperature is too high on Chassis 0 Slot 0, type is RPU.
• Use the display environment command to examine whether the temperature inside the L1000-A is
rising. If the temperature inside the L1000-A exceeds 90°C (194°F), power off the L1000-A
immediately and contact your local sales agent.

Interface module failure
Symptom
After an interface module is installed and the L1000-A is powered on, the LEDs on the interface module
indicate the interface module is not operating normally.
Solution
1. Verify that the correct interface module cable is used.
2. Verify that the interface module cable is correctly connected.
Use the display interface command to examine whether the interfaces of the interface module have
been correctly configured and are operating correctly.
