Description of function keys:
Mode Choose the video format from „JPEG”, „MPEG4” or “H.64”. It can JPEG, MPEG4 or
H.64. In JPEG mode, the video frames are independent. However, MPEG4 / H.64
consumes much less network bandwidth than JPEG.
Frame size This option allows the user to choose the video resolution of the Video Server between
„70x576”, „5x88” and „76x44”.
Maximum frame rate Click on the drop-down list to choose the frame rates of „0FPS” (PAL: „5FPS”),
„5FPS” and „7FPS”, „4FPS” and „FPS”.
Video quality Selects the image quality level of JPEG images captured from Highest, High, Medium,
Low and Lowest.
Selects the image quality level of MPEG4 or H.64 images captured from „Constant
bit” (4M, M, M, 5K, 56K, 00K, 8K and 64K) or „Fixed Quality” (Highest, High,
Medium, Low and Lowest).
Intra Frame Period In the H.64 or MPEG4 mode, if there is little motion and most of the video content does
not change from frame to frame, the H.64/MPEG4 encoding can compress the video by
the intra-frame method to keep the quality from loss.
You can set the desired time period to use intra-frame compression.
Audio Settings You can use the option to switch the external microphone on/off or adjust the volume.
Encoding Click on the drop-down list to choose the audio encoding of „G.7” and „G.76”.
G.76 offers quality nearly identical to G.7, but it uses only half the bandwidth.
Enable audio out Check to activate this function. Then set the Audio out volume level.

specify up to the area(s) on the Video Server‘s image to be blocked/excluded from recordings and snapshots.
