17–System Settings and Formatting
From the Setup Screen, you can change various
settings to optimize the device for your use
environment and other requirements. You can
also initialize and format the SD card.
To open the Setup Screen, press the
MENU key.
Select
SETUP
from the Menu Screen and press
the ¥/π key.
The following settings can be made for the items
on the Setup Screen.
Making System Settings
Setting the search speed
Use the
CUE/REV SPEED
item to set the speed
of forward and backward searching when pressing
and holding the ≤ and µ keys during audio file
playback.

Turning the unit power OFF automatically
Use the
AUTO OFF
item to set the time before
the unit power automatically turns OFF after
the last activity or use when powered by the
