In this step, the halyard swivel, feeder and torque tube are attached to the foil.

Slip the halyard swivel onto the foil and up past the 3"
(76 mm) gap in the foils.
The halyard swivel has a “top” and a “bottom” and must
be placed on the foil with the longer half facing up.
Attach the feeder to the gap in the foils. Use blue Loctite
on the screw. The end of the feeder with the screw
should be at the bottom of the gap.
Remove the two torque tube screws and slip the tube
onto the foil, narrow end up. Remove the red rub-
ber stud cap from the rod or Sta-Lok stud. Secure the
torque by inserting the cap against the flat side of the
foil. Alternatively, also use duct tape.
Tip: The feeder uses a “loose hinge.” Place the half with the pin sock-
ets into place on the exposed connector, slip the half with the pins
into the sockets and snap it shut.

Postpone installing feeder until after the Sta-Lok termi-
nal is assembled.
