8 Mechanical Installation
Fans
Displays up to 40 pixels high use
fans. Intake fans pull air through
vents located on the bottom
front of the display. If front
ventilated, ensure the entire
front of the display is exposed to
allow for proper airflow.
Exhaust vents allow airflow
through adjacent vents along the
bottom front of the display.
Refer to Figure 9.
Note: When mounting the
display, the entire front of the
display must be exposed to
allow for proper ventilation.
Aesthetic shrouding (common in
monument installations) is not advised.
2.6 Optional Temperature Sensor Mounting
Some displays use optional temperature sensors. Refer to Appendix B: for mounting and
signal connections.
