2. Next, extract the firmware and utility files from the archive file.
• (If not already done with File Download > [Open]) Extract the firmware files from the
downloaded *.exe or *.zip archive file with the user‐supplied utility program:
o Double‐click on the archive file name, and then follow the prompts provided by the
user‐supplied utility program. Extract, at a minimum, four files:
ƒ CCCflash.hlp: CEFD Flash Upload Utility
Program Help File.
ƒ CCCFlash.exe or Cccflshc.exe: CEFD Flash
Upload Utility Program, designed to run under
Windows 95/98/2000
®
or Windows NT
®
ƒ fw#####x.ccc, where "#" denotes the firmware
number, and “x” denotes the revision letter.
ƒ ReleaseNotesCRS‐311_MN_vX‐X‐X.pdf, where
“MN” denotes the modem, and “vX_X_X”
denotes the firmware version.
If these four files as identified are displayed, you should be ready to perform the firmware
update.
3. Finally, run the CCFLASH upload utility program.
Double‐click the CCFLASH executable file.
You should follow the instructions presented
on the screen, and the upload will take place
automatically.
