The Printhead menu provides the following selections:
Dot Resistance Checks each dot on the printhead (takes
approximately four minutes).
Temperature Checks the working temperature range of the
printhead.
To check the printhead, scroll until you highlight Printhead on the
Hardware Test sub-menu. Press e
. You will see:
Select item
Dot Resistance
Temperature
Exit
To run the Dot Resistance test:
1. From the Printhead sub-menu, scroll with the arrow keys until
you highlight Dot Resistance. Press e . You will see:
Running Dot Test...
Then you will see:
Avg dot = XXX
Enter for dot value
Esc to leave
