Trigger Scanner displays directions for running that test. If
you detect a problem scanning, please make a note and call
Service.
Configuration displays a menu of selections. Refer to the
Programmer’s Manual for descriptions of the selections.
Scroll with the arrow keys until you highlight the feature you
want to enable/disable. Press e, then type a new value.
Press b
to exit. If you detect a problem with configuration,
please make a note and call Service.
About displays the type of scanner you have: either a 1222 or
a 1223. If you have no scanner, it displays "Scanner
Unknown." Press any key to exit.

The Speaker diagnostic function produces a test series of tones.
To check the speaker:
1. At the Main menu, scroll with the arrow keys until you
highlight Speaker. Press e . You will see:
Speaker Diagnostic
150 Hz tone
2. The speaker emits the test tones (and the display changes)
automatically. The test tones are at 150, 300, 600, 1200,
2400, and 4800 Hz.
If the speaker does not emit all tones, please make a note and
call Service.
