5. Enter the number of drives (excluding spares) in the array and press Enter.
6. Select Select Drives and press Enter to view display all available drives, including
the following information about each drive:
Channel
SCSI ID
Drive capacity
Drive manufacturer
Drive model number
Drive state
7. Select the drives to add and press Enter. To skip a drive, use the é or ê keys.
8. If the array is mirrored, RAID 3, 4, 5, or 50 and there are one or more drives left, enter
the number of spares to add and press Enter. If no spare is desired,select 0.
NOTE: Spare drives may be dedicated to a specific array or shared (pool) spares. A spare
is not available for use in the second array unless it is specifically assigned as a
spare to that array or is a pool spare.
