RAISING THE PLAYFIELD
CAUTION
Do not raise the playfield straight up! This game uses a slide assembly to raise and
lower theplayfield
.
Before Raising the Playfield:
Be sure there are no balls present in the ball trough or any of the other ball-holding
playfield devices (i.e. poppers). Raising the playfield with balls present in these locations
may cause them to come loose and damage the playfield. Use the "Empty Balls Test" to
remove all of the ballsfrom these locations.
To Raise the Playfield:
3. Rotate playfield to upright service position (lean on
backbox) by pulling towa

Grasp bottom arch and carefully lift up playfield only high
enough to clear safety brackets. Rear guide legs should

2. Pull the playfield out toward you unt

it stops (rest position
),
and raise it approximately
3".
Be sure playfield is in locked position and does
not slide back into cabinet. If it does, repeat Step
2
beforeproceeding to Step 3

4. Rotate the playfield to the rest position
.
This unlocks the
pivoting
mechanism.
