6.2 USB-to-Serial Converter Driver (RTM)
The COM5 serial port on the cPCI-R3P00(T) is converted from the
USB3 port by a USB-to-serial converter (see “cPCI-R3P00 RTM”
on page 17). To install the driver for the converter, follow the pro-
cedure below. The installation consists of two parts: USB Serial
Converter and USB Serial Port.
1. R-click on My Computer, select Manage, and open the
Device Manager.
2. Under Other Devices you will see a "question mark" next to
FT2332R USB UART. R-click on FT2332R USB UART and
click on Update Driver to start the Hardware Update Wizard.
3. When asked to let Windows Update search for software, select
"No, not at this time" and click Next.
