14 Changing the Frequency Step
—^[3/STEP Button]
You can set the Transceiver’s step rate to 5kHz, 10kHz, 20kHz,
25kHz or 50kHz.
( Procedure)
a)
Press the 3/STEP button while pressing the Function. The
frequency display will disappear and replaced by the current
step rate.
b)
Rotate the rotary channel selctor. The six step rates will be
sequentially indicated.
c)
Select the desired step rate. Then press the * */ MR/ENT
button to return to the previous dial-frequency.

• When the step rate is set to 25kHz, 12.5kHz, the kHz digit
of the dial-frequency will be shown in a small black box on
the right side of the display.
• The step rate is initially set to 10kHz at the factory.
