System Monitoring
A large number of JSD‐100 systems can be monitored simultaneously
over Ethernet. Multiple units can be monitored and controlled using
the GUI. Multiple units can be monitored and controlled using a web
browser. The web interface duplicates the front panel controls,
allowing selection of input, setting fader level, and muting the
system. Multiple units can be monitored using SNMP.

GUI View of Multiple JSD‐100s
The GUI main screen provides an overview of several JSD‐100
systems. Systems are normally broken into groups representing
theaters. Each group contains the individual JSD‐100 systems for
each auditorium.
Adding Groups
Create a group for each theater. The group is a collection of JSD‐100s, one in
each auditorium.
Click the “Groups” button at the top of the screen.
Click “Add”. You will be prompted to enter the name of the new group.
Click “OK” when you have finished adding groups.
Adding Auditoriums
Click the “Auditoriums” button. The Add Auditorium dialog box will
appear.
Click “Add” to add an auditorium.
The name of the auditorium can be changed as desired.
Select the group from the previously defined list of
groups.
Click “Change” under Communications Settings to set
the IP address of the JSD‐100 in this auditorium.
Select the IP address of the JSD‐100 from the auto‐
detected device list if it is present. If not, press
“Manual Add” and then key in the IP address of the
JSD‐100 in this auditorium.
Press “OK” to exit Comm Settings and OK to exit
Auditoriums.
Once groups and auditoriums are defined, the GUI shows
a summary view of each JSD‐100 on the network. The
summary view includes the selected format, the fader
level, and communications settings. Clicking on the
summary view box brings up the detailed view of that
particular JSD‐100 where all controls are available.
