Using The Windows Client
1. After you log in, click the Windows Client icon.
Please Note: You must have DirectX 7.0 or higher installed on
your computer.
Some browsers may not allow the client to run directly in
their window.
If this is the case, you will be asked to Save to disk; direct the file to be
downloaded to a convenient location (such as the desktop), then with
the browser still open, double-click on the downloaded application.
A box similar to the one shown on the following page will appear. There
is nothing actually installed on your computer - the application is
merely being run from your computer, instead of directly through the
browser.
If you use the Save to Disk method, each time you use the Windows
client, a fresh copy of the program will be downloaded.
2. When a connection to the SV1107IPEXT has been established, a screen similar to the one
shown here will appear:
After you click on the Switch button, the remote system appears on
your monitor. You can work on the remote system via the screen
displayed on your monitor, as if it were your local system.
• You can move the window to any convenient location on your desktop by clicking on the title
bar and dragging it.
• You can switch between your local and remote programs using the Alt + Tab key
combination.
