Security
The Security page is used to control access to the SV1107IPEXT.
Overview
IP and MAC Filters control access to the SV1107IPEXT based on the IP and/or MAC Addresses of
the computers attempting to access the system. If any filters have been configured, they appear
in the IP Filter and/or MAC Filter list boxes.
The Login string lets the Administrator specify a string that users must include along with
the SV1107IPEXT’s IP address when accessing the SV1107IPEXT through the Java Applet. For
example, if the IP Address were 192.168.0.126, and the string was abcdefg, the users would key
in the following: 192.168.0.126/abcdefg
Users must include a forward slash (/) and the string, along with the IP Address when they log in.
For security purposes, we recommend that you change this string periodically.
