Archiving Setup
On the Edit Dialer tab, click the Archiving Setup button.
This will display the Archive Menu.
This form allows all information about a dialer’s archiving to be configured. The following is a
full description of archiving.
What is Archiving?
Archiving is the ability to collect specific events as they occur. This data can later be used to
keep past records of alarm conditions, flow readings, tank levels, or anything that can be
monitored.
While the dialer is monitoring events in the field, archiving can be used to take out the guess
work of what is actually happening, even when there isn’t anyone at the sight monitoring how the
system is actually working. A past history of events will be recorded by the dialer and can later
