About Maps
Maps can show you where you are, find the address or place you're looking
for, and give you directions to reach your destination. It can also show you
nearby stores or restaurants you might be interested in and what other
people are saying about them.
You need to connect to the Internet to use Maps.
Finding your location
Before you can find your location and see it on the map, you need
to turn on location services in the settings first (if you declined
when the Maps app asked to access and use your location). For
more information on location services, see
Turning on location
services on page 77.
1. Open the Maps app. The app tries to find your location and displays
it on the map.
2. If the displayed location on the map isn't quite accurate, tap to
find your location again.
