32 Timer Recording
Follow the steps below to program theTV/VCR to record TV pro
grams while you’re away from home.You can program up to eight
timer recordings. For each one,theTVA/'CR will turn Itself on,
record, and turn itself off automatically. Before you begin make
sure:
o
The clock has been set If not CLOCK MUST BE SET appears,
o
Channels are programmed.
o
There is a tape in ^eTVA^CR (make sure the tape’s record tab
is intact and the tape is long enough to record the program).
Complete each step within 60 seconds of completing the
previous step. If you don’t, you may start again at step I.
Press the MENU button to display the pop up menu.

Press the PLAY/A button or the STOP/T button to select
VCR PROGRAM, then press the RFWD/+ button.

Select a once, daily, or weekly recording.
o
Press the Number I button to select ONCE. TheTV/VCR will
record aTV program on any day you choose, up to 12 months
away.
o
Press the Number 2 button to select DAILY. TheTVA^CR will
record from Monday through Friday - starting at the same time
and recording for the same length of time every day.
o
Press the Number 3 button to select WEEKLY.TheTV/VCR will
record on the same day, at the same time, and for the same
length of time every week.
Helpful Hints
If the power fails, programmed
timer recordings will not be lostThe
programmed timer recordings will
be restored when the clock is reset
after the power failure. (The clock
will reset itself automatically if you
are using the AUTO CLOCK feature.
Details are on pages 14 ~ 17. If you
are not using ^eAUTO CLOCK fea
ture, reset the clock manually; then,
the timer recordings will be restored.
Details are on pages 12- 13.) The
timer recording v/ill not occur only if
the timer recording was scheduled
to take place during the power fail
ure.
You cannot set a timer recording if
the TV/VCR is in Record Defeat
mode.To set the Record Defeat
