Snow Roof Rake

Assembly Instructions

Parts Shipped with Unit:

- Head
- Bolt bag with braces
- 4 Handles (42” bent, 57” smooth, 48” fluted with splice,
57” fluted with grip)

Handle Assembly:

1.

Insert smooth middle section of handle into bent lower handle until snap pin engages in
hole.

2.

Insert fluted top section of handle into middle section of handle until snap pin engages in
hole.

Instructions for Optional Extension Handle:

1.

Remove fluted section of handle with grip from rake.

2.

Insert the end of fluted extension with splice into the smooth middle section of the rake
handle until the snap pin engages in hole.

3.

Replace the fluted section of handle with grip into the end of the extension handle until
the snap pin engages in hole.

from roof and gutter tape before using this product.

Head Assembly:

1.

Assemble the braces to the head using the two smallest 5/8” bolts and loc nuts.

2.

Insert rib of rake head into slot on end of bent handle. Align holes and insert small
1-1/4” bolt.

3.

Align braces with handle and insert longer 1-1/2” bolt. Use wrenches to tighten all
loc nuts, being careful NOT to over tighten, DO NOT crush handle! Over
tightening may result in crushing the handle, and will decrease the useful life of the
handle.
