“Sled” Style Gauge Rake
Assembly Instructions
Tools Needed for Assembly:
ƒ Adjustable wrench (or 10mm wrench)
Parts Shipped with Unit:
ƒ Head
ƒ Threaded Handle adapter w/hardware
ƒ 2 sleds
ƒ 2 U-clamps

Assembly Instructions:
1. Remove wing nuts from bolts on threaded handle adapter. Set
threaded handle adapter on top of head and fasten wing nuts to
the underside of the head and tighten.
2. Remove both nuts from one U-clamp and insert threaded ends
of U-clamp through the head and loosely tighten nuts. Insert
sled post through the U-clamp and then up through the hole in
the head to the desired depth. Make sure sled runner is
perpendicular to the head and tighten nuts with wrench.
3. Repeat step 2 for the 2
nd
sled and U-clamp.
Tips for using the “Sled” Style Gauge Rake
ƒ Pull or push rake keeping the sleds flat to the surface.
ƒ Do not drop rake on the surface. Sled depth setting
may change with excessive force.
ƒ Most standard threaded handles will fit this rake.
