Assembly Instructions
Tools Needed for Assembly:
7/16” wrench (two)
Parts Shipped with Unit:
Head
assembly
Threaded handle adapter or aluminum handle (not pictured)
Gusset brace (set of 2) – one gusset is labeled
Bolt bag for braces
CAM

sets are ordered separately and may or may not be
shipped with this unit
Gusset Brace Instructions:
1. Slide slotted handle or threaded handle adapter over the center
hole on the aluminum frame.
2. Position labeled gusset on bottom of handle/adapter, and the other
gusset on top of the handle/adapter as shown.
3. Insert the two longest bolts through the top gusset, the
handle/adapter and the bottom gusset. Insert the two shorter bolts
through the two remaining holes on the frame.
4. Tighten all nuts, being careful not to over-tighten. Over-tightening
hardware may result in crushing the handle, thereby compromising
its strength.

Assembly:
1. Remove the wing nut and loc washer on each end of the head
assembly.
2. Place the CAM
®
on the head, as shown, followed by the loc washer.
Secure with wing nut. Do the same on the opposite end of the
head.
3. Make sure CAM
®
striking surface is in line with screed edge, as
pictured.
