Setting the day/night mode
You may wish to use the unit as a telephone and facsimile {TEL/FAX mode) during the business hours and
switch to the answering device {ANS/FAX mode) during off hours.
With this feature on, the unit will automatically switch the receiving mode at a preprogrammed time without
the operator’s assistance.

the day mode {TEUFAX
mode) starts.
Example:
The TEUFAX mode
starts at 9:00AM,
Press 0900, then press
* to select AM.

NIGHT=12:00AM
Enter the time at which
the night mode
{ANS/FAX mode) starts.
Example:
The ANS/FAX mode
starts at 5:00PM.
Press 0500, then press #
to select PM.
NIGHT=05:00PM
Press START/SET to
store the setting.
Press MENU to end the
program.
Note:
df you select another receiving mode manually when this feature is on, the unit will keep the receiving
mode that you select until either day or night mode starts.
