Replacing the Drum Unit

Never expose the drum uiiit to ambient room light or sunlight while replacing it. The drum contains a photosensitive surface.

Exposing it to light may damage the drum.

Open the receiving cover.

Lift the drum unit by the four tabs as shown below.

Install a new drum unit (see page 11).

Close the receiving cover gently imtil it locks into position.

Reset the drum counter (see page 117).
