Monitoring incoming calls
While an incoming message is being recorded, you can monitor the caller’s voice through the
built-in speaker and answer it if you want.
Adjust the sound level using the VOLUME control.
To answer the call while monitoring, lift the handset. The unit stops recording automatically.
Recording a memo message
If you are going out and want to leave a private message for someone, you can record a voice
memo in the unit. This can then be played back either directly or remotely, exactly like any other
incoming message.

Press the MEMO/2WAY REC button.
The IN USE indicator lights and a beep is heard.
Speak toward the microphone from approximately 20 cm
(8 inches) away.
To stop recording, press the STOP button or the
MEMO/2WAY REC button again.
The IN USE indicator goes out.
