4. The Hardware tab allows the System Administrator to select the video device, video
inputs (the Image Capture System does not use video inputs), and COM port (when
applicable). If all hardware is connected correctly, the computer will automatically
detect the video devices connected to it.
5. Select the “Microsoft DV Camera and VCR” for the Video Colposcope. Once you
choose this option, streaming video appears on the computer screen.

6. Set the COM port to control the Video Colposcope through the RS-232 connection.
Generally the correct setting is COM port 1 or 2. Setting the COM port value from 1 to
Save button keeps new settings.
Cancel button keeps previous settings.
