If somebody becomes trapped:
R press one of the memory function position
buttons, or
R move the switch for steering wheel
adjustment in the opposite direction to that
in which the steering wheel is moving.
The adjustment process is stopped.
X Press the = or ; button on the
steering wheel to select the Sett Sett menu.
X Press the : or 9 button to select the
Convenience Convenience submenu.
X Press a to confirm.
X Press the : or 9 button to select the
Easy Entry/Exit Easy Entry/Exit function.
If the Easy Entry/Exit Easy Entry/Exit function is
activated, the vehicle steering wheel is
displayed in orange in the multifunction
display.
X
Press the a button to save the setting.

Switching the belt adjustment on/off
X Press the = or ; button on the
steering wheel to select the Sett Sett menu.

Press the : or 9 button to select the
Convenience Convenience submenu.
X Press a to confirm.

Press the : or 9 button to select the
Belt Adjustment Belt Adjustment function.
When the Belt Adjustment Belt Adjustment function is
activated, the vehicle seat belt is displayed
in orange in the multifunction display.
X Press the a button to save the setting.

Switching the fold-in mirrors with the
locking feature on/off
This function is only available on vehicles with
the memory function (
Y
page 123).
When you activate the Auto. Mirror Auto. Mirror
Folding Folding function, the exterior mirrors are
folded in when the vehicle is locked.
If you unlock the vehicle and then open a
door, the exterior mirrors fold out again.
X Press the = or ; button on the
steering wheel to select the Sett Sett menu.
X Press the : or 9 button to select the
Convenience Convenience submenu.
X Press a to confirm.
X Press : or 9 to select the Auto. Auto.
Mirror Folding Mirror Folding function.
If the Auto. Mirror Folding Auto. Mirror Folding function is
activated, the vehicle's exterior mirror is
displayed in orange in the multifunction
display.
X Press the a button to save the setting.
: To fold the exterior mirrors in or out
If you have switched the Auto. Mirror Auto. Mirror
Folding Folding on and you fold the exterior mirrors
in using button : , they will not fold out
automatically (

page 121).
You can then only fold out the exterior mirrors
using button :.
If you have switched the function on and you
fold the exterior mirrors in using the button
on the door (
Y
page 121), they will not fold
out automatically. The exterior mirrors can
then only be folded out using the button on
the door.
