3 HP Information Assistant
Information Assistant Overview
The HP Navigator CD-ROM contains Information Assistant, which contains the
entire set of documentation for your HP NetServer in online form.
Information Assistant provides a quick and ef^cient means to locate information
about installing, managing and servicing your HP NetServer. It has complete
documentation on the HP NetServer and accessories; important information on
your NOS; and reference information, such as functional descriptions and
technical papers to help you better understand your HP NetServer and make
choices compatible with your network.
The following section briefly describes the Actions ofInformation Assistant. The
^al section describes how Information Assistant can be read or installed on other
systems.
Using Information Assistant
Information Assistant has many features that help you quickly ^d the information
you need. The following is a brief description of these features. To understand
how to use each Action, use the Information Assistant help system.
Boot ^om the HP Navigator CD-ROM on the HP NetServer and run Information
Assistant, or install Information Assistant as an application program on a Windows
client machine (see "Installing HP Information Assistant Software" below).
Getting Help
The Help button displays the help system for Information
Assistant. The Information Assistant help system explains how to
use Information Assistant to ^d the information you need.
