8.4 TROUBLESHOOTING

If you are having problems running the Wireless ELF system, try turning off your wireless internet connection. The
Wireless ELF system may be experiencing interference with the wireless internet signal. If this does not solve your
problem, contact Cooper Instruments.

9.0 EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE

• The hub and transmitter cannot be autoclaved.

• Do not let any liquid drip onto the electronics inside the hub and transmitter. If this occurs, they may stop

working and must be allowed to dry for 24 hours. You can use an air syringe however, to significantly reduce
drying time. Do not attempt to this using any other method, or you may destroy delicate electronics.

• To properly clean the hub and transmitter, be sure to wipe them down with a 70% Isoproply Alcohol solution. To

do this, slightly dampen a cloth, careful not to soak or saturate the cloth. Wipe the hub and transmitter after each
use.
