SETTING THE CHART DATUM
The chart datum can be obtained from the navigational
chart you are using.
1. Press
the POS key.
2. Press
the SETUP key until dAtUM is displayed.
3. Press
the ENTER key, the displayed chart datum will
now flash.
4. Use
the ▼ STEP ▲ knob to select the required chart
datum. Refer to the datum list at the end of this manual.
NOTE: For user defined chart offsets select USER
ENTERED.
5. Press
the ENTER key to memorise your setting.
SETTING A USER DATUM
This is a user entered latitude and longitude offset obtained
from some charts.
NOTE: Before USER DATUM can be used USER
ENTERED must be selected as DATUM, see previous
section.
1. Press
the POS key.
2. Press
the SETUP key until USER DATUM is displayed.
3. Press
the ENTER key, the display will now flash.
4. Use
the ▼ STEP ▲ knob and the ENTER key to enter
the required offset.
5. Press
the ENTER key to memorise your setting.
