Appendix C - Flat Ground Planting

The YP625PD planter is optimized for planting on beds
18 cm high. For planting on flat ground, the gauge
wheels need to be elevated to run 18 cm higher.

Note: The ground drive wheel does not need to be reset

to operate on flat ground.

Refer to Figure 110
To prepare the planter for flat ground planting, raise the
gauge wheels by inverting the cylinder mounting
blocks

. This adjustment raises the planter by about

6.4cm.

Block up the frame to remove weight from tires.

2.

At each of the four lift cylinders, remove the four

cap screws attaching the mounting blocks to the
frame.

3.

Invert mounting blocks and reinstall cap screws.
Torque to specification.

4.

Make the same adjustment at both wheels.
