Install Loup II Console
Refer to Figure 108
A new ADC2220 cart standard seed monitor system
includes a console
to be mounted in the tractor cab.
Note: Earlier carts included a Loup (I) console.
Installation and setup for Loup (I) begins on
page 119.
Mount the console so that it is easy to observe during planting,
but does not interfere with safe operation of the tractor in the
field or on public roads.
You or your dealer must provide the mounting holes for
the included ball swivel. Your dealer may have alternate
suction cup or clamping brackets available if you prefer to
avoid drilling holes.

The clutch switch
includes a captive harness
that terminates in two 2-pin weatherpak connectors:
a plug (power in), color coded yellow
, and
a receptacle (power out), color coded green
.
The yellow lead has a 10A slow-blow fuse
.
The console harness
has an 8-position receptacle
at one end, and splits into three cables at the other:
a 2-pin weatherpak (power), with blue
cable tie,
a 3-pin weatherpak (monitor), red
cable tie, and
a 4-pin CPC connector (for radar, normally unused).
2.
Mount the console
. Plug the 8-position
receptacle
into port J1 of the console. Port J2 is
unused.
Turn the clutch switch
to the OFF (0) position.
