Installing the Module

Connect the 1771-NC6 or -NC15 cable to the module as shown in
Figure 2.3:
1. Slide the locking bar up.
2. Insert the cable connector into the mating connector on the front of
the module.
3. Slide the locking bar down over the mating pins on the module to
lock the connector onto the module.

Connect the other end of each cable to the remote termination panel. You
need two cables per module. Connect one cable from the top connecter on
the module to the right connector on the panel. Connect the other cable
from the bottom connector on the module to the left connector on the
panel. At the panel, use the thumb screws to lock the connector in place.
The proper orientation of the cables is shown in Figure 2.4.
