will
not
answer
the telephone for Callback
Acknowledgement.

The
Model
800
recites
the
alarm
message
or
Status
Report
over
the
telephone,
but
is silent at the installation site.

800
and
telephone
answering
device
(sharing
the
same
line)
answer
incoming calls simultaneously.
You did not allow the telephone to ring
10
times.
Note:
If
the
TAD
(telephone
answer
-
ing
device)
is
disabled,
the
telephone
rings
ten
times before the Model 800 answers. If the
TAD
is
enabled,
you must call the unit and
let the line ring once, then hang up, wait
ten seconds and call back again within 30
seconds.
The
local
voice
mute
feature
is
in
effect.
The
Model
800’s
number
of
Rings
Until
Answer is set to equal the number of rings set
for the telephone answering device.
When
calling
the
Model
800,
and
the
TAD
is
disabled, allow the telephone to ring 10 times.
