INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

LAMP INSTALLATION
NOTE: Make sure that power is off before changing lamps. Use only MR-16 lamps rated 20 watts to 75 watts at 12 V.A.C.
1. Seat protective lens in lampholder.
2. Insert lamp in lampholder between retention springs and protectve lens (Face of lamp should rest on the protective lens).
3. Attach beaded safety chain provided with housing to chain coupling on trim.
4. Attach MR-16 socket to Bi-Pin prongs on lamp. Note: If pins are not pushed all the way in, arcing will occur, causing premature
lamp burnout.

5. Insert trim into housing aperture with trim flange parallel with the ceiling. For ease in horizontal adjustment, do not insert trim
completely. Leave approx. 1/4" between ceiling and trim flange.
6. Turn on power to fixture and rotate entire trim to aim light in desired location. Push trim straight up into housing until trim flange
seats firmly against ceiling. Spring clip on mounting frame will secure trim in place.
7. To lock the vertically adjusted trim, turn locking screw with a 1/16 allen wrench clockwise until seated.
Warning: Lamp manufacturers require the protective lens to be in place before energizing lamp, and great care shpuld be taken
that lamp is fully cooled before relamping.

qualified service personnel. Product must be grounded to avoid potential electric shock or other potential hazard.
Product must be mounted in locations and at heights and in a manner consistent with its intended use, and in
compliance with the National Electrical Code and local codes. The use of accessory equipment not recommended by
the manufacturer or installed contrary to instructions may cause an unsafe condition. Do not block light emanating from
product in whole or part, as this may cause an unsafe condition. Do not allow items such as drapes, curtains, screens or
the like to come into contact with the product or to block light from the product, as this may cause an unsafe condition.
