For its safety-relevant access control, CELSIUS FDA bases itself deliberately on the existring
Windows® NT security concept of software manufacturer Microsoft. The core operating sys-
tem of Windows NT was successfully tested by NCSC ito security level C2 of the orange book
(published by US government as standard for computer security). By this means both the
security of the user authentification and audit trails, as well as the file protection of electronic
records (by the use of NTFS standards) are ensured.
