SNMP Monitoring
This section helps you program sending of SNMP traps (alerts). Find the list of available
traps in the so-called MIB table on the installation CD along with this User Manual. The
main task of the eCPU SNMP monitoring function is to continuously monitor the GSM
gateway states (gateway CPU connection via TCP/IP – Telnet) and, when an error state
occurs, send alert to the defined IP addresses. The SNMP agent on the eCPU monitors
the following states (some can be user-disabled):
GSM gateway availability (connected, disconnected).
GSM/UMTS, PRI, VOIP and AUX card presence/absence.
Count of active calls via PRI ISDN, VoIP interface.
Received signal quality for each GSM/UMTS module.
ISDN line state and GSM/UMTS module error states.
