 Check cuvette volume (light path
height is 8.5 mm).
 Clean cuvette shaft (see Cleaning
on page 32) and insert cuvette the
right way round: measuring
surface towards the light path. The
direction of the light path is
indicated on the blue cuvette shaft
cover by an arrow.
 Use cuvette from a material which
is optically transparent for light of
the measuring wavelength (for
measurements in UV e.g.:
Eppendorf UVette).

Ratio cannot be calculated because one of the
absorbance values used for the calculation is
A = 0 or A > 3. Repeat measurement, if necessary
with a diluted sample.
