4. For LP operation:
Completely open the valve (4) on top of
the LP tank (unscrew counterclockwise
until it stops).
5. For a dual-fuel engine:
Set the Fuel switch (9) to LP fuel (5) or
gasoline fuel (6), depending on which you
want to use.
6. If the engine is cold, press and hold the
Choke switch (7) during the next step.
7. Turn the key (8) to start and hold it there
until the engine starts or for 20 seconds,
whichever comes first. When the engine
starts, release both the key (8) and the
choke switch (7).
If the engine does not start in 20 seconds, turn
the key (8) to off and release the Choke
switch (7) then wait 60 seconds before trying
to start the engine again.
● Starting a diesel engine
To start a diesel engine from the ground control box
do the following:
1. Set the Battery switch (1) to on.
2. Set the Emergency Stop switch (2) to on
(up).
